The new restaurant menu came into effect after the closure and there are some great dishes on there. The menu is adjusted by us looking at the sales of the various items and identifying which specials have sold well. We take the slow sellers off the menu and add the most popular specials. We also use this opportunity to check prices of items and adjust where necessary.
It's great to be back at the club after the maintenance closure, and the team is enthusiastic and raring to go! John and his team did some great work during the closure and, with the rain that’s forecasted, recovery should be very quick. We are a few days way from the spring maintenance week and John and his team are going to be very busy preparing the course for summer! During the week closure, we will be painting the wall on the first hole and the third hole and replacing the netting on the right side of the range and repairing the netting on the left. We enjoyed 1.4 inches of rain earlier in the week, with more predicted for today and tomorrow morning. This is exactly what the course needed, and for us to not need “cart path only” after 1.5 inches is a testament to how dry it was!
